Raspberry Mojito

A Raspberry Mojito is a delightful twist on the classic mojito, bursting with fresh raspberry flavor. Here's what you'll need to make it:

Ingredients:

  • 5-6 fresh raspberries
  • 5-6 fresh mint leaves
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup (or 2 teaspoons sugar)
  • 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 1 ounce white rum (or raspberry rum for a stronger raspberry taste)
  • Club soda, to top
  • Lime wedge and mint sprig, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Muddle the raspberries, mint leaves, and simple syrup (or sugar) in a highball glass or a sturdy glass. You can use a muddler or the back of a spoon for this.
  2. Pour in the lime juice and rum.
  3. Fill the glass with crushed ice.
  4. Top the drink with club soda, stirring gently to combine.
  5. Garnish with a lime wedge and a mint sprig (optional) and serve!

Tips:

  • For a more intense raspberry flavor, you can muddle a few extra raspberries.
  • If you don't have fresh mint, you can use a couple of drops of peppermint extract instead. Be careful not to add too much, though, as it can overpower the other flavors.
  • Adjust the amount of simple syrup or sugar to your taste preference.
  • For a non-alcoholic version, simply omit the rum and add more club soda.
